ENGLISH TOFFEE BALLS
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar (plus additional for decorating)
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 (3 1/2 oz) package vanilla instant pudding and pie filling
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 3/4 oz bars Heath or Skor toffee candy, crushed
powdered sugar
Heat oven to 325 degrees F.
In large bowl, cream together confectioner's sugar, butter and dry pudding mix.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Stir flour, milk, vanilla and crushed toffee bars into creamed mixture; mix well.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 13-18 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool.
Dip top of cookies in confectioner's sugar.
