Australian Meringue

This recipe came from my Grandmother through my mother, well tested

Whip six egg whites until they stand up on their own. Whilst beater is still on high add 1 1/2 cups of castor sugar a little at a time. Once combined drop beater to low speed and add eight drops of vanilla essence and 1 1/2 tablespoon of white vinegar.

Heap onto a pizza tin cover with aluminium foil and bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees farenheit and then a further two hours at 200 farenheit. When baked turn upside down onto a plate and peel off aluminium foil. Top with bananas and then whipped cream or use any other fruit you like.
