cake fillings

Misc.

I have discovered fruit fillings for cakes and rolls at our cake decorating shop. They are in soft plastic tubes - 2lbs. Just clip the end and used as a cake decorating tube to squeeze a dab of filling into sweet rolls, tart shells or whatever. Of course, if you want a filling in a cake you could clip the opposite end so a larger amount could be squeezed out. The fillings are delicious. There are all fruit flavors plus a lemon and chocolate. I have just tried the fruit flavors and they are delicious and so handy. If I don't use the entire tube, I just turn the plastic down and fasten with a clothespin and refrigerate.
