Crustless Vegetable Quiche (using frozen chopped spinach or broccoli)

CRUSTLESS VEGETABLE QUICHE

"Serve with fresh fruit and a muffin."

1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli OR spinach
1 cup milk
1 envelope Durkee Turkey Gravy Mix
4 eggs
2 tablespoons Durkee Minced Onion
1/2 teaspoon Durkee Basil Leaf
1/8 teaspoon Durkee Ground Cayenne Pepper
2 cups shredded Swiss OR cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Thaw frozen broccoli or spinach; drain well. Spread in greased 10-inch pie or quiche pan.

Combine milk, (dry) gravy mix, eggs, minced onion, basil and cayenne; stir in cheese. Pour over broccoli.

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Makes 8 servings
