I've got lots of different kinds

I have lots of different kinds of cookware. I don't think buying a complete set of something is a good idea. I have Calphalon (great life time warranty and wonderful for sauces, candies, etc. because of their heft, can put in oven, etc. Not too great for eggs--they stick unless you get the non stick type now.)
have LeCruset cast iron enameled pots--great for long stewing and they really hold their heat, Ultrex--two saute pans--just great and even heat, nothing sticks to these. Now they just have to make a flat bottom double griddle and I'll be happy. I saw some nice stuff at the State Fair this summer. I even like my old glass pyrex double boiler for certain things. I know lots of people like stainless steel and copper too. I'd just try one piece of something. You can always buy more.
