Jean, 24 hour salad...
Misc.I used cider vinegar, but think either is fine. I don't know where my mother got this version, but I have lots of old cookbooks and the recipe is in an old Betty Crocker. The recipe is so old that the original calls for marshmallows cut in fourths. So it was before miniature marshmallows. Anyway, Betty Crocker book just calls for vinegar and doesn't specify a type.
