Montgomery Pie...still need help

Thanks for the reply, this is the same as the recipe I have. It tell you to spread the top layer across the bottom. Well, the bottom layer was all
watery.....and my top layer just sorta floated on the bottom. My bottom layer
never got solid. Any idea ???? A high school friend's mother used to make
pie and it was like mine turned out.
