Misc.

Thanks for the info and yes I have been reading the posts to BV. If you have other ideas you think would help, please post.

Yes, Page. The mural is just what I envisioned it to be -- Wonderful & Perfect!!!!!!!
Now I want to pay her a little extra with a 'revealing' of her talent. She is a known Christian artist in this area and has put one of her paintings in a Christian store to sell, so any other help she can get will be appreciated. She said she's only had one 'revealing' and that was a really funny joke thing she pulled on a friend. They have a male person in their group of friends who is loud and always gives her a hard time about not having a drink and being proper. For a long time he teased her and asked her to paint him a beautiful woman he could hang in his bedroom. She finally agreed and thought she would teach him a lesson. It took her quite a while to paint it in her spare time (he hadn't contracted her, so no hurry). Every once in awhile he would ask how she was coming with his painting and she would say, 'you'll be surprised with it' or, 'it's coming along just fine'. Well the day came when it was done, and the man and his wife invited LOTS of their friends to a grand outdoor barbeque/party to reveal this 'gorgeous nude' painting. When Anita (the artist) pulled the cover off the painting for him and his friends, his friends burst out in loud, roaring, laughter and he was is shock and speechless (probably for the first time in his life). She had found one of these pictures from a calendar in a bookstore that is of the nude, VERY full-bodied, well-endowed, robust, with all the rolls we try to get rid of - you've probably seen them. (Anita cleared it with his wife from the beginning).

It took him a year to ask her to sign it for him. She took it back to sign it but doesn't plan to give it back. He never paid her and I don't think she really wants her name on that painting.

If anyone ever wants to see a picture of my mural, I've taken some pictures and would send you one if you want to e-mail me your home address. If don't have my e-mail address, you can get it from Betsy. I got everything in the picture but I could only stand back so far in my room without falling out of the window.

This will be a truely grand revealing, but I can't cover it since it's on the wall. The door will be closed and then opened for the people to enter the room.

Have a good day!
Linda B
