Question for Reva/re: Malgieri Cake

Reva:

Is this the recipe which has a photo in the book of a cake surrounded by pink raspberry cream? I don't recall there being any white whipped cream on the photo.


Also, what do you do with the other half of the raspberry bavarian? I only saw that half was used -- when it was poured onto the chocolate filling before setting the second layer and chilling.

Thank you again for finding this recipe! The bookstore where I saw it was sold out and I want to make this cake tomorrow!
