Re: Unique Peanut Butter Fudge recipe
Misc. This is NOT a cubed fudge, per se...but tastes more like a Hershey's peanut butter cup.
Melt in saucepan:
6 T. margarine or butter and take off of stove
Stir in 6 Tbsp. dry Hershey's cocoa
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
Stir in 1 box of confectioners' sugar till it forms a ball.
Put in refrigerator till it chills.
Roll the fudge mixture between 2 sheets of waxed paper. Spread on a layer of peanut butter (creamy or chunky). (On humid days, I normally sprinkle a bit of conf. sugar onto the waxed paper so the fudge doesn't stick).
Roll up like jelly roll. Chill. Slice about 1/4" thick.
These look great on a dessert serving tray and taste great!
