reply to juicer?????????

Misc.

Well, I would kind of like to know the same thing myself. I have a Vita Mix I love dearly and use for so many things! It's a creature unto itself. It can do just about everything and I am so glad everyday that I bought it. While I do make fabulous carrot-mixture juices with it and wonderfully healthful smoothies, I feel inadequate in making the types of juices that Jay Kordich, the Juiceman produces. His juicer, however, is still of the extractor varitety. I know that with some ingenuity and creativity I could do much of the same, but don't have the time or the money to waste in experimentation. In helping YOU make your decision, you can access Consumer Reports online at www.consumerreports.com and see what comes out ahead in the features you're looking for. I DO know that I have heard on more than one occasion that the Juiceman JUNIOR is doo-doo - lacking power and guts.
On the subject of Arthritis, Aloe Vera juice of the whole leaf variety has helped with the pain for me as well as a standardized, quality product of Glucosamine.
Today they add the Chondroitin, which skyrockets the price fourfold, and not necessary in my opinion. If you are taking Echinacea, while excellent as an immune builder, it will work in the opposite direction for anyone with an Auto-Immune illness, which Arthritis is. Upping B-6 and taking a good Evening Primrose oil or Flax oil is also helpful. See www.flora.com.
Would be interested in knowing your decision. Take care. GinSing
