Substitute for Rockwood Mints

I wanted to make these cookies since I found my Mom's old recipes. In Walmart, I found Andes Creme De Menthe Baking Chips. They are flat and small so will take a few but could be the answer. Could not locate any of the other
suggested substitutes. Walnut halves are even hard to find!!!
