Starlight or Rockwood Mint at Wilbur
Misc.My Grandmother made these cookies for years, but for quite awhile we too could not find the Rockwood mints the recipe called for.
After moving to Lancaster County, PA I found them at the Wilbur Chocolate Store in Lititz, Pennsylvania. I don't know if they ship them or have any mail order, but if you are coming this way, pick some up. They come in 8oz bags and are called "Dark Chocolate Mint Wafers". Its a great recipe that not many people make. I sprinkle them with green sugar to make them Christmasy. This is a family "must bake or else!" cookie in our house!
