That pesky paddle...

Another idea about removing the paddle: Because I don't like the shape of loaf my bread machine makes and the hole from the paddle, I usually use the dough cycle and then shape the dough in a regular pan and bake in the oven. It's not much more work, and I like the shape a lot better!
