At long last! I am so pleased to hear that you will finally be able to use the Quorn products! For those of you who need to be convinced i can only say that although my other half is vege i am not and yet i prefer some of their products to meat. In some recipes (chili, stir fry's, shepherd's pie, chicken (quorn) in white wine sauce) the Quorn products are hardly distinguiseable from meat - by this i mean in terms of bulking up the meal and not flavour - at the end of the day if it tasted anything like meat then my boyfriend wouldn't touch it!! An example here from a meat eater (me) - i made 2 batches of chili recently - one veg and one meat. When tasting for flavour, seasoning etc i had to say that the meat one didn't measure up to the 'fake' mince one! So, there you go. Give it a shot. Healthier too. Ah, go on now, go on, go on, go on, go on, GO ON!!! LOL!! (sorry, it's an in joke from a British ad on the t.v over here - anyone ever seen Father Ted?) I've been using the Quorn products for quite a long time now so if anyone would like suggestions for recipes using the products i would be more than happy to oblige - just give me a shout and let me know what you'd like to make. BTW - Jackie MA - i know you'll be arriving soon so give me a shout on my e-mail so that we can arrange times/dates to meet etc, can't wait to see you all!
