Where are you Janet?
Misc. Many thanks again for all of the low sodium low fat recipes. I have tried several and they have been very good! Now I'll ask you and anybody else who has ideas for help once again. Finding low fat low sodium lunch ideas are the pits :!) I buy Albacore tuna, water-pack, then wash it to remove some of the salt and add very little fat free (YUCK!) mayo. That is lunch when I can't think of anything else. But most of what I've been cooking doesn't taste so hot. So here is a whole list of favors:
1) simple casserole recipes
2) suggestions on using herbs to flavor food
3) Mayo Clinic suggested I bake our own bread so I could leave out the salt (hubby loves bread!). Has anybody tried this? I thought salt was necessary to keep the yeast from working too much.
4) salad dressings for potato salad maybe made with fat free yogurt (not so much sodium as commercial fat free dressings)
5) other salad dressings that are low in fat and sodium
Any and all help is much appreciated. Sorry to be so long winded!
