- Real Recipes from Real People -

You're welcome, Betsy...

Misc.
I'd never heard of grits being used in casserole with the cornbread either. I have not personally tried it. I am away from my collection of Junior League and Auxillary cookbooks, but wanted to contribute something fun.

I loved reading that you had recently received such a large box of recipes from clippings, booklets, appliance pamphlets, etc. That is my idea of the perfect treasure hunt! If the lady who carefully collected and preserved all those gems she held dear could know that they landed in the most appreciative hands possible to be tried and passed on, I know that she would smile....or her star would twinkle a little brighter.

Maybe you could put a little star or some other sign to identify the recipes you post from your box of finds. I know that you already identify and highlight the sources of the recipes you post.

I don't write often, but I try to check in daily. Best regards and continued blessings to you and Bob in all your endevors.
