You never know, we may might just meet one day! You wouldn't believe who I met in the middle of the night during a beach vacation condo evacuation. It makes for a funny story now, but I found out that penthouse folks look like regular folks in their sleepware and without their makeup. Well, they do wear their better jewelry when they think the building's on fire.

Let's hope our meeting will be more planned, less dramatic, and in 'street wear'. LOL

Back to lost and found recipes, I am now trying to gather copies of Culinary Arts Institute Encyclopedic Cookbooks, edited by Ruth Berolzheimer, for my girls and new daughter-in-law. It has been in constant publication, and now even in paperback, but they love my old green copy. It's the book (1950)my mother learned to cook with and then I did. I love the old photos, recipes, substitutions, entertaining ideas, and the even portion for nutritional lunch ideas for children. All the aspic and wild game recipes, however, I skip completely. I've found two copies in good shape and at a reasonable price so far.
