Recipe: Chickpea Nibbles

Appetizers and Snacks
CHICKPEA NIBBLES

2 tablespoons garlic infused olive oil
4 cups cooked and drained chick peas
1 teaspoon chili powder, or Zip

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

To make garlic infused oil:
In a glass measuring cup, combine 1-2 cloves slivered garlic with olive oil. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Allow to stand a few minutes, and then remove the garlic.

In a jelly-roll pan just large enough to hold the chick peas in one layer, toss the oil with the chick peas.

Bake for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until they are browned slightly.

Sprinkle with the chili powder or Zip. Serve warm as a great snack.
