Recipe: 9x13 Chicken Salad (layered lettuce salad topped with ranch dressing)

9X13 CHICKEN SALAD

1 (10 ounce) bag torn romaine lettuce
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1 cup chopped celery
1 1/2 cups halved cherry tomatoes, divided use
2 cups chopped, cooked, seasoned chicken
2 teaspoons red pepper sauce
1 (8 ounce) bottle ranch dressing
6 slices bacon, cooked, crumbled (for topping)

In 9x1 3-inch glass baking dish, layer lettuce, onion, celery, 1/2 the tomatoes, and the chicken. Sprinkle red pepper sauce over chicken.

Pour dressing evenly over salad. Sprinkle with bacon and remaining tomatoes.

Makes 6-8 servings
