Recipe: Baby Ruth Cookies (using peanut butter) for Vicky

BABY RUTH COOKIES

1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/4 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour, sifted
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup milk
5 Baby Ruth bars (1.9 oz each), cut up

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease cookie sheets.

Cream sugar, butter, and peanut butter together until light and fluffy. Beat in beaten eggs add mix well; add vanilla.

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together and add alternately to the creamed mixture with the milk. Stir in the cut-up Baby Ruth bars. Drop from teaspoon on prepared cookie sheets.

Bake in preheated 375 degree F oven until golden brown, about 12-15 minutes.
