Recipe(tried): BBQ Rub

Toppings - Rubs and Marinades
BBQ Rub
Source: Inge Hinrichs, Sacramento County MFP

3/4 cup paprika (Hungarian if you can find it)
1/4 cup ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 teaspoons cayenne

Mix thoroughly-store in a dark, cool place.

This rub does a dynamite job on brisket Kansas style...(dry rub and long slow low).

Swab outer crust with mix of 2 tablespoons dry rub and one can non-alcoholic beer to keep moist. Great on chicken, all ribs, etc.
