Recipe: Biscuits (refrigerator)

Breads - Assorted
BISCUITS (REFRIGERATOR)

5 cups flour
2 cups buttermilk
1 cup shortening
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. yeast dissolved in 2 tbsp. water
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix all together in food processor. Just enough to gather together. Then remove and knead just a bit to make into a ball and place in a plastic bag. Remove all possible air from bag. Store in refrigerator until needed.

Remove just what you need and replace remainder in bag and refrigerate again.

Cut what you removed into biscuits and bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.
