Bread Machine Strawberry Preserves (Regular & Low Sugar)
Low Sugar:
1 (20 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed & crushed or 2 cups fresh
2 3/4 cups sugar
1 (1.75 oz.) pkg. powdered pectin for low sugar
For the regular Strawberry Preserves add:
2 tbsp. lemon juice
and replace powdered pectin for low sugar with:
1 (1.75 oz.) pkg. regular powdered pectin
Place ingredients in bread machine (with jam making cycle).
After cooking is completed, remove pan from machine.
Caution, mixture is very hot. Discard any foam.
Pour into containers, refrigerate, or freeze.
