BROWNIE PIE
2 squares (1 ounce each) unsweetened chocolate
2 tbsp butter or margarine
4 large eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
3/4 to 1 cup pecan halves
1 (9-inch) pie crust, unbaked
Melt chocolate and butter together over hot water, cool briefly.
With rotary beater or electric mixer beat eggs, sugar and syrup together. Beat in chocolate mixture. Stir in pecans and pour into unbaked crust.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 40 45 minutes until just set.
