Recipe: Brussels Sprouts and Noodles

BRUSSELS SPROUTS AND NOODLES

1 1/2 cups (4 oz.) American beauty kluski egg noodles, uncooked)
1 (16 oz.) bag frozen loose-pack Brussels sprouts
1 teaspoon salt, divided use
1 cup sour cream (8 oz.)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (or 1 teaspoon dried dillweed)
1 1/2 teaspoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons dry bread crumbs

Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.

Meanwhile, cook Brussels sprouts with 1/2 teaspoon salt according to package directions; drain.

In large bowl stir together noodles, Brussels sprouts, sour cream, dill and remaining salt.

Combine butter and bread crumbs; sprinkle over noodle mixture and serve.

Makes 6 servings (about 3/4 cup each)
