Recipe(tried): Campfire Pies

Kristi - my favorite used to be cherry (or apple pies).
I am doing this from memory so bear with me (I was young),

Round pie iron (found in camping supplies).
Butter or spray both halves.
Put one (whole I believe) Pillsbury biscuit on each half.
You will have to spread biscuit out.
Put some pie filling in middle (the stuff that comes in a can).
Close and cook on each side checking every so often until browned.
Important let cool before eating.

You can also do pizzas like this or grilled sandwiches.
