I don't use water, but this is the way I've always made them ~
Canned Biscuit Caramel Rolls
1 can (about 10 oz) ready-to-bake biscuits
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup butter or margarine
Chopped pecans
Melt sugar and butter together in a 9-inch cake pan. (Can be done while preheating oven to 475F.) Sprinkle pecans over melted sugar/butter; arrange biscuits over top. Bake for 10 minutes; cool in pan for a minute or two, then invert onto a plate.
