From Quick & Easy Dishes, a military officers’ wives collection of recipes, published in 1969

2 cups grated cheese
2 sticks (1/2 lb.) margarine, room temp.
2 cups flour
salt to taste
cayenne pepper to taste
2 cups Rice Krispies

Mix all ingredients together, adding Rice Krispies last. Roll into small balls, place on ungreased baking sheet, and flatten slightly. Bake at 350F for 10 to 12 minutes.
