Cheesy Ham and Potato Casserole

2 cup ham -- cubed
6 medium potatoes -- cooked and cubed
2 cup milk -- divided
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup cheese whiz
1/2 cup cheddar cheese -- grated
1/2 tsp salt
pepper

Make cheese sauce by combining 1 1/2 cup milk with cheese, Cheez Whiz, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, until cheese melts and sauce simmers. Mix 1/4 cup flour with 1/2 cup milk until smooth. Stir into cheese mixture until thickened. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring constantly. Place ham and potatoes in casserole. Pour cheese sauce over. Bake 350 for 20-25 minutes until cheese begins to brown.
