Recipe: Chewy Granola Bars

Chewy Granola Bars

1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp honey
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 cup flour
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup quick oats
1 1/4 cup puffed rice cereal
1 cup nuts
1 cup raisins
1 cup chocolate chips (or peanut butter or butterscotch chips)

Preheat oven to 350F. Cream margarine, sugars, honey, vanilla and eggs, mixing well. Combine all dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Press into a greased 13x9 baking pan. Bake at 350F for 22 to 28 minutes. Let cool, cut into bars.
