CHOCOLATE GRAVY
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 dash salt
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter
1 can biscuits (or homemade)
While the biscuits are baking, bring the milk to a near boil in a pot and then add the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt and stir continuously with a whisk until thick. Then add the butter and whip to make the gravy smooth and creamy. More milk may be needed but it should have the consistency of gravy-not too thick, like a brownie, nor too runny, like soup.
