Recipe(tried): Coconut Rice (Columbian-Style) - Thank You

Thanks for your responses, I don't really eat curry though.

My recipe for coconut rice is simple.

Crack the coconut, save the water, grind the coconut meat, then fry it until it turns brown/black.

Add water, salt, a bit of sugar, and uncooked rice, then make it as though it were regular rice. When it starts drying out, add raisins.

I ate this with fried fish and it was sooooo good. That's how they make it in Colombia, only over there you can buy the darkened coconut in a jar. Thanks
