Recipe(tried): Creamed Green Peas and Potatoes

This is my first post. Thank you to all who have submitted such wonderful recipes to try. This has become my favorite recipe web site.

Creamed Green Peas and Potatoes

3 T. butter
2 T. minced onion
4 potatoes, diced
1 T. flour
1 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1 1/4 c. milk
1 10 oz. pkg frozen peas

Melt butter and saute onion and potatoes over medium heat for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Stir in flour and salt and pepper. Gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir until it thickens. Cover and simmer for 3 minutes. Add peas and cook until potatoes and peas are done - about 8 minutes. Stir occasionally. Makes 4 servings.
