Curried Pumpkin Pasta Sauce

I threw this together for dinner last night, and was truly amazed at how good it tasted! I just wanted something quick, but now I think I'll keep making it as a regular dish.
1 tbsp. butter
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1 small can solid-pack pumpkin (the little on that looks like a can of soup-- maybe 15 oz.? Not the big 28-oz. one for making a pie).
1/3 cup milk (approx.)
1 tbsp. hot curry powder
Lotsa fresh black pepper
Melt the butter over med-low heat in a saucepan, and saute the garlic. Let it get just a little brown. Add the tomato sauce and pumpkin, thinning to desired consistency with the milk. Turn heat down to low, add curry powder and pepper, and let it slowly heat through while you cook the pasta.
I threw in a little sliced zucchini too, for color.
