Recipe(tried): Date Pinwheel Cookies - Cookie Comments

I made these yesterday 1/4/07 and it was very easy to make. I am not great pinwheel cookie maker. The dough is easy to work with and tasty. Personally, I thought the filling was a bit sweet for my taste and next time I would definitely leave out the sugar (1/2 cup) and maybe even the orange juice (definitely use unsweetened) or just use water with the dates in the filling. The cookies grew to an enormous size and overall I am pleased with my attempt. Definitely oversweet but still yummy.
