This was the only thing I could think of that would be close to what you described:
ECLAIR CAKE
1 large box instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (8 oz) container frozen Cool Whip, thawed
1 can prepared Chocolate frosting
1 box graham cracker
1. Mix the pudding according to package directions. Fold in cool whip--blend well
2. In a 13x9 cake pan layer 1/3 box of graham crackers, then add half the pudding mixture. Sprinkle another 1/3 layer of graham crackers and cover with the rest of the pudding mixture. Top with the last 1/3 layer of graham cracker. Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours.
3. Frost with the prepared frosting. Cover and keep refrigerated.
