Recipe: Fatay (Arab pastry-Empanada)

Main Dishes - Assorted
FATAY (Arab Pastry-Empanada Arabe)
(My translation)

For the dough:
800 grams of flour
20 grams of yeast
4 T oil
salt to taste
water (necessary amount)

For the stuffing:
1 Kg of ground or chopped beef
400 grams green onions
1 green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
5 garlic cloves
a handful of parsley
1 can chopped tomatoes
salt & pepper to taste
ground cumin to taste
ground cloves to taste

For the Dough:
Mix the ingredients, Knead & let rest for approximately 40 minutes. Strech the dough & cut it in rounds. Prepare the stuffing. Add the stuffing over the opened dough as with a pizza. Bake in a hot oven for approximately 20 to 25 minutes or until needed.
