Recipe: Freezing Cantalope for Tina

Freezing Cantaloupe

Dry Pack...slices, balls, cubes~pack in containers or freeze quickly on a tray then pack in containers.

Wet Pack~Make a 30% syrup of ~ 2 cups of sugar dissolved in 4 cups of cold water will yield 5 cups fo 30% syrup. Each pint of fruit will need approximately 1/2-2/3 cups of syrup to cover.

Pint...1/2 inch Quart....1 inch
