Recipe(tried): Freezing Corn (Cut off the cob raw)

I shuck the ears, clean well and dry. Put the ears in a heavy-duty freezer bag and freeze. Do not thaw before cooking. Bring unsalted water to a boil. Add frozen ears of corn and a pinch of sugar; bring back to a boil, turn off heat and cover. Let sit until ready to serve.
