Recipe(tried): Freezing corn with a butter sauce

Misc.

This takes a bit of extra time but is well worth it and we make make it an assembly line production with the kids as well.

8 cups of blanched corn cut off the cob
2 teaspoons salt
1 stick butter (butter preferred)
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup water
Heat an electric skillet to 350. Cook all the ingredients for about 3 minutes. Stir a couple of times. Cool on cookie sheets. Put into bags dividing sauce between the bags. Freeze.

We have had company and I've made a bag without the sauce and a bag of the butter sauce corn and everyone prefers the butter recipe.
