When I freeze corn I try and do it all at one time, I cut it off the cob and put it in a big cooker with a stick of butter and let it almost boil and then simmer untill the butter is melted, then let it cool down and then put in any size freezer bag, I fix a few quarts for the Hollidays and then some pint size for our dinners.
