Recipe(tried): Freezing Corn (Cut off the cob raw)

This is not for leaving the corn on the ear, but this is my method for freezing corn. Cut corn off the cob raw. I use an electric knife. Cook 2 Cups of corn with 1/2 cup water, 2 TB sugar, and 1/2 tsp. salt for 5 minutes. Cool, package, and freeze.
