Recipe(tried): Fried Clams and Clam Cakes

Main Dishes - Fish, Shellfish
CLAM BATTER (can be used for all fish)

It is my mother's "Old time" recipe.

shucked clams, shrimp, scallops, or chunks of fish
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup of milk
1 egg
1 tablespoon melted butter
dash of salt

In a medium bowl stir all ingredients together (I mix it with a fork).

CLAM CAKES

If you like Clam Cakes. Here is another recipe for you.

1 pint clams
2 eggs, unbeaten
1 1/2 cracker crumbs (I use Ritz crackers)

Mix all ingredients together. Make a large 3/4-inch thick patty and fry in frypan. Fry one side, then the other. Yummy...
