Recipe: Fruit Filled Squash

Apple & orange spice the stuffing---

Fruit Filled Squash:
Serves 6

3 medium acorn squash
1/2 tsp.salt
3 c.chopped apples
1 medium orange,peeled & diced
1/2 c.brown sugar
1/4 c.butter or margarine,melted

Cut squash in half crosswise,remove seeds.Place cut side down in shallow baking dish.Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes.

Turn cut sides up,sprinkle with salt.Combine apple,orange,brown sugar & butter,fill squash with mixture.

Continue baking at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or till tender.
