Recipe(tried): Golden Raisin Slaw for Dana

Salads - Assorted
You're absolutely right, Dana, as much as I love cole slaw it can get boring! Sometimes I make mine with red cabbage and green cabbage, add some thin slices of red or green bell pepper, and toss in a teaspoon or so of celery seed. If your feeling a little more adventurous try this Pillsbury recipe that'll guarantee a delightful change!

Golden Raisin Slaw
Makes 16 (1/2 cup) servings

8 slices bacon
2 (16oz.) pkgs. coleslaw
1/2 cups golden raisins
1 cup salted shelled sunflower seeds
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
4 teaspoons honey

Cut bacon into small pieces; cook until crisp. Drain on paper towels. In large bowl, combine bacon, coleslaw blend, raisins, and sunflower seeds; mix well. In small bowl, combine all remaining ingredients; blend well. Add to coleslaw mixture; toss well. Cover; refrigerate at least 1 hour or until serving time.
