Recipe: Seven Layer Salad (using canned peas)

Salads - Assorted
SEVEN LAYER SALAD

1 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
1/2 cup celery, diced
1/4 cup green pepper, diced
1/2 cup onion, diced
1 (15 ounce) can peas, drained
11/2 cups mayonnaise (light and low sodium)
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
5 slices lean bacon, cooked and crumbled

Layer salad bowl with lettuce, celery, green pepper, onions and peas.

Carefully spread mayonnaise over the vegetables.

Sprinkle with sugar, cheese and bacon. Cover with plastic wrap and store in refrigerator at least 8 hours.

Toss and serve or serve without tossing.
