Recipe: Italian Sausage Florentine

Italian Sausage Florentine

2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen spinach, thawed
18 oz. medium wide noodles, cooked
3/4 lb. Italain sausage, cooked & sliced
3/4 lb. lean ground beef, browned
15 oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
16 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. milk
8 oz. sour cream
1/2 c. chopped onion
6 oz. grated cheddar cheese

Mix sausage and beef well. Mix in cooked noodles. Add tomato sauce, garlic powder and pepper. Mix together cream cheese, sour cream and milk, and add onions. Mix well. Layer 1/2 of the noodle mix, then cream cheese mixture into 9 x13 pan. Then layer remaining noodles and cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheddar cheese, return to the oven or place under broiler until cheese melts.
