Recipe(tried): Homemade Macaroni and Cheese (re: Tuna Casserole)

Main Dishes - Casseroles
I found this recipe in some old newspaper clippings from the 1980's; it does not include tuna, Worcestershire, or catsup; but in a pinch you could add 1 can drained tuna, about 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon (or to taste) Worcestershire sauce and catsup. Don't know if the catsup was spread on top or in the casserole. Hope this helps.

HOMEMADE MACARONI AND CHEESE

1 cup macaroni
1 tablespoon butter
1 1/2 tablespoons flour (all-purpose)
1 cup milk
1 cup cheese, cut fine (Velveeta)

Cook macaroni, then drain.

Make a white sauce by melting the butter (don't burn it), stir in the flour until blended, and slowly add in the milk until well blended. Add the cheese to the hot white sauce. (At this point stir in the drained tuna, Worcestershire and catsup).

Put all into a greased baking dish and bake at 350 degrees, uncovered for 30 minutes.
