Desserts - Cakes
Jello Pudding Poke Cake

1 package two layer size cake mix(yellow or chocolate)
2-4 serving size jello instant pudding, use chocolate pudding with yellow cake or vanilla pudding with chocolate cake.
1 cup confectioners sugar
4 cups cold milk

Prepare cake mix as directed on package, baking in a 13x9 pan.

Remove from oven, immediately poke holes down through cake with handle of a wooden spoon. Holes should be at 1" intervals.

AFTER THE HOLES ARE MADE
Combine pudding with sugar in a large bowl, gradually stir in milk. Beat at low speed of electric mixer for no more than 1 minute (Do not overbeat) Quickly, before pudding thickens, pour about 1/2 of the thin mixture evenly over warm cake and into holes to make stripes.

Allow remaining pudding mixture to thicken slightly; spoon over top of cake, swirling to "frost" the cake.

Chill at least 1 hour. Store cake in refrigerator.
